Excellent place for fishermen and fisherwomen. The pier is right there, the bait shop is right there and a great place to eat (the boiling pot) is all within a quarter of a mile. If your going to cook while you're there make sure you bring paper plates and cups and a gas stove and cutlery.

Pool was great, it was heated, so we could come back from the beach and continue the fun. Easily walkable to the beach. Rooms were well equipped with a fairly full kitchen. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was well designed. Staff went out of their way to reunite a lost bag with my 10 year old, so extremely happy with the service. Breakfast was well stocked, with lovely staff. Even a secondhand bookshop, where you could swap a book.

Loved Christmas display in Lobby. Free breakfast was great, Texas shaped waffle made my morning. Friendly staff took care of all our needs. Pool w lights accessible in December was pleasant surprise. Cold Front hitting around 8:12 pm bring the temp form 80 to 35 or so made for memorable one night trip to Port A. Hope to be back soon.
