Il Motel Gottardo Sud si trova a 7 minuti di distanza dall'autostrada A2/E35, a sud del tunnel del Gottardo, e offre camere silenziose, una gustosa cucina e servizi gratuiti quali la connessione Wi-Fi... The motel is situated close to the Gotthard Pass and Gotthard Tunnel. For me it was an ideal place to stop being 7 hours drive from home. The staff were exceptional taking first class care of us. The meals in the restaurant were simple, tasty, and a good size. Exceptional value for money and just right for a tired traveller. The rooms were quiet and facilities (other restaurants, fuel, post office etc all close to hand.

Beatuful nature, fantastic trips, I can recommend The Ritom Funicular (it's maximum incline is 87.8%, which is ranked as one of the steepest funiculars in the world!), transporting you towards beautiful Alpine Lakes (lago Ritom, lago Canagno), one of the most beatiful views I have ever seen. The house is very closed to the highway so you can easily reach other destinations. The surroundings of the house is quiet, beautiful garden with coniferous trees. The apartment was very well equipped, beautifully spacious, clean, I really appreciated the dishwasher, because on vacation I really do not want to wash dishes:). We were 4, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, we really enjoyed it, 100% recommend it.
