Located in the leafy suburb of Birkenhead on Auckland's North Shore district, FERNZ Motel & Apartments Birkenhead offers accommodation within a 15-minute drive from Auckland CBD. The apartment layout was very nice, and had everything we needed to make us feel at home, including a washer/dryer in the bathroom. The neighborhood had a lot of shops and restaurants, and it was only 10-15 min drive from downtown Auckland. The large bay windows to the balcony were a nice addition, and let a lot of light into the apartment.

Free Wi-Fi and free car park (limited spaces, based on first in, no reserves) are on offer at Alexander Inn. We were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was quite luxurious and very very clean. We would recommend and definitely stay there again. Many thanks also for allowing us a late departure.

My room was incredibly spacious, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The highlight for me was the large, relaxing tub—perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine. The shower was fantastic, with amazing water pressure that made washing my hair a breeze. The small kitchen was a great bonus, equipped with plenty of extras to make my stay even more convenient. The location was lovely—just a short walk to plenty of shops and restaurants, plus you can catch a cool ocean breeze directly across the street. Check in was beyond easy and everyone was extremely kind. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything what might be needed was there. An air condition made the high temperatures bearable. The breakfast was freshly prepared to our wishes and delivered to our room. Sandy and Glen were very helpful. We felt welcomed. The beach is just across the street and invites for a late evening and morning swim. I wished we could have stayed for longer.

Looks exactly like the photos, newly renovated. Very spacious living area and bathroom. The receptionist was friendly, very informative about how to use the heat pump and spa tub. There is also a private backyard area, fully fenced. Perfect for families, couples, solo travelers or a night away for yourself.

I stayed at Albany Oak Motel as a traveller and had a great experience.The staff were very helpful - they even helped me with my luggage during check in and check out, which I really appreciate. My room was clean, spacious,and comfortable, with a beautiful garden view that was so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Albany - I would definitely stay again!
