Takaka si trova a circa un'ora di auto da Kaiteriteri , Marahau e Totaranui le tre localita' dell'Abel Tasman NP raggiungibili in auto.

Located in Takaka, 10 minutes' drive from the beach, The Rocks Chalets features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. Eclectic little cluster of 4 chalets well maintained right outside of Tanaka (short 1 km walk on paved trail into town). Wonderful, welcoming owners who see after everything with great detail. Originally booked here because Kaiteriteri over the hill had nothing left, but would stay in Golden Bay again in heart beat. Nice drive to Totaranui on easy gravel road to take water taxi to Abel Tasman.

Featuring barbecue facilities, Anatoki Lodge Motel is set in Takaka, 18 km from Golden Bay. Each accommodation at the motel has garden views and free WiFi. The apartment was very spacious and I didn't realize it would have a full kitchen.

Situato a Takaka, a soli 5 minuti a piedi da negozi e ristoranti, il Golden Bay Motel offre un'area giochi per bambini e un parcheggio gratuito. Location - walking distance to shops. We stayed in room 5 - this was so spacious with 2 beds, dining table and full longe. The best part was the large glass sliding doors leading out to a private deck overlooking a lovely garden and play area. Very relaxing spot for to have a drink and read a book. Friendly staff. Washing machine and dryer available for guests. Kitchen facilities to cook if needed.

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. Great location, room was very tidy and had everything you need, host was very nice.
