I knew the Cascades Inn about a decade ago, when I came for a conference. I was a bit worried about the term "motel" as it has negative connotations in other contexts, particularly Mexico. In short, The Cascades Inn is a family-friendly, renovated motel that is now a full-fledged hotel. A short 9 minute Lyft ride from the Sample Gates of Indiana University, it is far enough North to let you be away from the busy areas in the university area, but close enough that you can reach the campus by foot if need be (or if you want). Impeccably clean, superb bed, the wifi improved substantially after the first night. They clean the rooms every third day, which was fine for me. Shower temperature and pressure were fantastic. Comes with a small fridge, a microwave. I have stayed at The Cascades Inn several times and will continue to do so in the future.

Property is clean and new, beds and pillows were comfortable. Ladies at the front desk were really nice/informative. Great place to stay for a Notre Dame football game

Offering free Wi-Fi in every guest room, this Scottsburg motel is less than 2 miles from Scott County Heritage Center and Museum. A 40" LED TV is included in every guest room at Hometowne Inn &... I like this old school motel where you park right by your door — no need to haul our stuff a great distance, and it’s easy to depart early the next morning. The price was right for those on a strict budget. It was a great place to avoid the impending winter storm just to the west and north. Had bananas and yoghurt for a quick breakfast. We needed good coffee which we got at Dunkin Donuts right by I-65. Walmart was relatively close in the next town. I’ve paid a lot more at recognized hotel chains that were not nearly as clean as this place!

The room was perfect for all of our needs. It had a microwave, refrigerator and was very spacious with comfortable beds and very clean. We had made a special request & the owner was sure everything was taken care of when we arrived early. Would definitely stay again if ever traveling to Warren.
