Spacious room with a nice view, great in-house onsens alternating between male and female use at different times of the day, and a cozy coffee room offering complimentary coffee and tea. The facilities are very perfect. Ie. shuttle bus from/to hotel to train station and ropeway, varieties of gold and silver onsens in one place are stunning we didn’t have to go other onsens to try both of them. Our room was very beautiful and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were served inside the guest room. The staff serving us was very friendly, and the food was top the notch. We tried both private onsen and public onsen. for us, the public onsen was better; it was outdoor with a nice view, and more spacious.

The shared onsen and bath is beautiful (much nicer than the private onsen). The view over the trees and the windows that slide open were superb, and made our stay because we could enjoy the rain from inside the room. It was good to experience a Ryokan and traditional Kaiseki dinner in our room. Arima Onsen is a lovely village to walk through and try the different foods. The foot bath in the main street was a highlight, even though it was almost too hot at 42 degrees!

Gorgeous ryokan with good onsens. It was my first traditional Japanese hotel and onsen, so I was very impressed by hospitality, kaiseki dinner, the view, the room with tatami, yukata and hot springs. Totally recommend it!
