It's situated right next to Kamo River which was just so beautiful and there is a park that stretches alongside it. The ryokan itself is also very nicely done with a zen garden. The onsen was wonderful and well equipped. It had a hot spring feel to it. The kaiseki breakfast was top notch. Special mention goes to the milk which is really tasty. Room was great.
