It come with dinner and breakfast for 2, for the price like that and on the weekend, we didn't expect much, planning to go convenient store nearby after dinner time, but the dinner hot pot was excellent, beyond our expectations and not just the portion but also has good quality, very tasty I would say. The breakfast as well, has western and asian style we both choose asian style but I saw from others their western style breakfast is also exceptional, and the coffee is refillable!! Enjoy the hot springs and the fecility, though the tv was broken for a moment but totally worth every penny!!!

Great CP value. Very quiet area, confy. Not so old and rundown than some ppl said, was expecting worst bcz of the reviews, but it exceed my expectations, it was kind of casual quality. Great hot/cold bath room. Great staff. I've liked the style of the room and hotel in general.

A spectacular location, close to the forest, with the opportunity to walk along nice paths surrounded by beautiful trees. The room was absolutely fine, while the hot spring was a bonus. Breakfast was mainly local style, but we were okay with that. On the whole wonderful for those who love nature

My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. Breakfast was insanely extensive; never seen anything like it. Great! And the children's area was the highlight of the whole trip for my son. The pools were delightful.

This was honestly the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The service was amazing, and the interior design was calm and elegant. One of the standout features was the Japanese-style Toto toilet – a nice luxury touch.
