At first I was surprised by the good ratings, but it was indeed well deserved! The staff was very friendly and the guesthouse is very spacious, with a great view to the mountain and the sea. Experiencing a Ryokan was amazing and Onyado Yuinosho is the perfect place for it, the staff is incredibly nice and accomodating, the food is incredible, the rooms and facilities are so fancy and pretty and atmosphere is so relaxed and cozy! They give you all sorts of amenities, they have free ramen at night, coffee, yogurt drinks and they even leave local candy to try inside the room! They also have vending machines for soft drinks/coffee/tea and alcohol! The meals they serve are extremely tasty and fancy with beautiful window views of the mountains! The private onsen rooms are beatiful and relaxing! The two nights we spent there were the highlight of our trip! Absolutely must recommend this place if you plan to visit Shirakawa-go!
