Mine had a view of the canal. Higher ones could have a castle or lake view. - amazing breakfast buffet, with a lot of local specialties (Izumo soba, zenzai…) - within walking distance of the castle and historical houses.

Pretty much everything was fantastic: the location is unbeatable, the room was insanely spacious, the ameneties are incredible, the rooftop terrace was the cherry on top. The people working there are helpful, patient and friendly, the food is wonderful. It is expensive but you absolutely get your money's worth.

Wonderful ambience. Don't just catch the ferry for the day - stay on the island It's unforgettable.

Situato sull'Isola di Miyajima, dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità, l'Iwaso ospita sistemazioni in stile giapponese con splendida vista sui dintorni. Beautiful property. We had the half board with multi course traditional Japanese meals. They were amazing but yes, pricey. We wore our traditional Japanese. The hubby used the Osen and said it was fabulous. I didn’t go as I stayed with our 10 year old daughter who didn’t feel comfortable doing it. The staff was helpful and courteous. We left our bags with them on the day of checkout and they brought us to the ferry around 14.30.

Located in a nicely managed onsen area , next to a stream, can hear running water from the room. Restaurant serves very delicious Italian food. We had one of the best pizzas ever. Staff are young guys and girls, energetic and helpful.
