The buffet had different choices and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and can speak good English. Location is good since it's near the JR station and some stores and restaurants. I'll stay here again.

The staff were absolutely incredible; we had to have our bags shipped down to Osaka due to smaller stops in Tokyo and Mt Fuji (too short to be able to guarantee the bags would arrive on time) which is a crazy distance. The ladies at the Information Centre were able to explain the process for this and even drew us a map to get to the shuttle bus to the train station and encouraged us to take a jacket and do a practice walk the night before. The tour we booked was also fantastic, and the food and local beer was great too. The room was incredible; it was so affordable for the space you're given and relaxing in the onsen overlooking the ballpark was an unforgettable experience, they even have snacks and a bar! Everyone we came across was so lovely, even other people staying were interested to hear about our trip as it's not a common place to find foreigners.

Lake Toya Tsuruga Resort HIKARINOUTA ligt in Toya-meer, op 3,8 km van Toyameer, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. Dinner and breakfast were amazing both French and Japanese. We are vegetarian so chef prepared special meals for us. The best rooms are in floors 3 and 4 where you have open view of the lake. We don’t recommend taking the deluxe rooms as there are only 2, and you might end up in the second floor with partial view of the lake.

民泊 47ハウス 家族でも楽しめる温泉付き一軒家, een accommodatie met een tuin, ligt in Shiraoi, op 25 km van station Higashi-muroran, 31 km van Muroran, en minder dan 1 km van Kojohama Park Golf Club. Very spacious and stylish house, well furnished and equipped! There is a big bathroom with real onsen. Parking is easy too. I have a wonderful stay here and will come back to stay again during the next trip.

De gemeenschappelijke onsen heeft verschillende baden, een sauna en een stoomruimte. Het personeel in het hotel was erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was uitstekend en bood voldoende variatie zodat je elke dag iets nieuws kon proberen.

Guest House Yamada ligt in Date, op 25 km van Toyameer en 31 km van station Usu, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. We came to Hokkaido to snowboard at Niseko/Rusutsu in February, and this place was a wonderful cozy home stay for our trip! You definitely need a car to get here, and it's about an 1hr drive to either ski resort. However, despite the distance, the place was really warm and clean, and the hosts made us feel at home. Every day they provided a variety of breakfast and coffee, cleared snow off our car, checked in on us to see if we made it to the nearby onsen for our evening baths, and even had laundry. There are mini heaters in the room that are powerful enough to keep the room warm, and the blankets provided are so comfy! The hosts themselves are incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

Boasting a fitness centre and a bar, Portom International Hokkaido is situated in Chitose, 100 metres from New Chitose Airport Onsen and 15 km from Salmon Hometown Chitose Aquarium. Beautiful property right in the airport. Excellent staff

The property is very modern and relatively new. However, I was impressed by the level of thought that went into every facet of our stay, from the room's views to the design touches, furnishings, and standard amenities. The food in general was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was especially exceptional. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Continental/American style items, but the quality of the local Hokkaido produce and ingredients put it over the top. We ate at two restaurants, an Italian and Japanese grill, as well as the Lobby dining area. All three were fantastic. Their pool and Onsen were modern, spotless, and had plenty of towels (a pet peeve). The service was remarkable as well. Any issues we encountered were dealt with immediately and without any pushback.
