We had a charming traditional room with tatami mats and a marvellous view of the garden and mountains.

We enjoyed the enlightened small garden at night!

Guests will find a shared kitchen for their convenience and a terrace boasting mountain views. Tatami room was fantastic, with great views of the mountains and the town, very spacious and clean. Hostel was cute, very well equipped, with many facilities. Staff was very helpful and polite. The onsen was fantastic, very relaxing. Tattoo friendly as well. Do use bus or taxi if you're carrying luggage, otherwise it's a perfectly fine walking distance from the town. Perfect stay!

Just 500 metres from Miyanoshita Station, it offers indoor and outdoor pools, a spa and a restaurant in a converted Imperial Villa called Kikka-so Inn. Rooms feature bathtubs with natural hot-spring water. The location in Miyanoshito was amazing, and very handy for transport options. The breakfast and general dining facilities were outstanding. The entire property complex oozed class and comfort.

The location, room, balcony and private onsen bath were all amazing. The accommodation was very high quality in terms of facilities and what was provided. Would highly recommend to others. It was the very start of our stay in Japan and we couldn't have kicked the trip off better (once we got there from the airport!)
