Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Staff are nice and professional. Great arrangement and communication in advance. Private onsen is perfect for a family with kids and elderly. We stayed here for 2 nights with great variety of food.

Shikinosato Hanamura se nachází v destinaci Minamioguni a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Sopka Aso je 39 km daleko. Room was very spacious. There were 3 heaters in the room, so definately warm enough to anyone's liking if you needed. Room onsen was nice. Food was in a private dining room for dinner and breakfast. There was a very nice lounge to relax in as well. There is a public cave onsen that was quite special. In winter, roads may have snow and need to be wary if driving in.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The meals were very nice as well.

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan má 5 termálních lázní, včetně 30metrové jeskynní lázně. 10/10 everything was amazing! The place the food the staff and the baths! They even tried to accommodate our needs, as muslims, as much as possible ❤️ would recommend, would go again 👍 Thank you very much.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. A nice little gem in Kurokawa. From the moment I entered the premisses I was very impressed! It has a nice rustic feel to it with some modern twists. The open air onsen was very nice and after you are finished you can relax outside in your yukata while enjoying the beutiful garden in front of the reception. The staff is very friendly and service oriented. They spoke english well, so it was easy to communicate. Dinner and breakfast was great. We were able to pay using credit card which was much appreciated. I can easily recommend this hotel!

Hotel Yumeshizuku se nachází v obci Minami Aso v regionu Kumamoto, 10 km od města Naka-dake, a nabízí termální lázeň a saunu. Všechny pokoje jsou klimatizované a vybavené TV s plochou obrazovkou. The dinner was delicious, really enjoyed.

Nanjoen se nachází v centru oblasti Kurokawa Onsen a může se pochlubit celkem 8 vnitřními i venkovními termálními lázněmi. Nabízí tradiční ubytování v japonském stylu s tatami (tkaná sláma). Everything was perfect! Service was perfect, everyone was super polite and really made us feel taken care of. The meals were elaborate and delicious. The onsen in the room was magnificent, what a peaceful experience. I 100% recommend this Ryokan for a special onsen experience.

Fumoto Ryokan nabízí tradiční ubytování v japonském stylu s historickým kouzlem a může se pochlubit různými krytými a venkovními termálními lázněmi. Je obklopen klidnou zelení u řeky. Our stay at Fumoto Ryokan was absolutely incredible. The staff did a fantastic job throughout our stay and making sure every detail of the trip was just perfect. Our room had a wonderful view of the adjacent river and was so comfortable and spacious - a nice change of pace after traveling Japans big cities. Even as a very tall guy, they provided me with an appropriate Yukuta and I could enjoy the onsen experience in full. The baths themselves are amazing - both the shared outdoor one and the private bath rooms. There are plenty of the latter, so if you prefer your privacy you‘ll have plenty of options, some of them even with outdoor views. Then there is the food. The courses are absolutely delicious and so plentiful, that we found ourselves struggling to finish all of it sometimes. The quality of the dishes and the presentation is so high, the (not cheap) room price seems very reasonable in hindsight. To sum it up: this was a 10/10 experience and we can’t wait to come back someday.
