The staff was friendly, and I had an enjoyable experience at the onsen. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. My skin felt wonderful after using the onsen. The public onsen was also impressive, providing a chance to enjoy the hot natural springs under the moon and stars, with the autumn leaves falling gently around. It was very nice. Additionally, the restaurant served delicious food/drink.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring area, it offers Japanese accommodations and free WiFi at the lobby. Free shuttle is available to/from Ogunimachi Yu Station and bus stop Kurokawa. Location. Stunning view and atmosphere. Sympathy from the staff. Kudos for Shujan for his kindness and informative interaction. Amazing food experience.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. It also features a lounge with complimentary coffee and WiFi, a terrace and a garden. Free parking is available. A truly nice ryokan stay - several rooms/houses, hidden among the trees, many options for bathing - two M/F outdoor onsens, and several private baths. We did not use the indoor onsen. Breakfast and dinner are worth themselves the stay, as they are really "rich", both in variety of the food and the colors :) Room was simple and elegant, more than big enough for two. The staff was very professional, polite and helpful. Hope that we visit the place again! Arrive here early, not just before the dinner, so you can enjoy the many onsen possibilities and sit down for a cup of tea among the trees.

Each room includes a private bathroom equipped with a bath and bath or shower. Extras include slippers and a hair dryer. Hotel Yumeshizuku features free WiFi . The private onsen was very nice. Hotel had good facilities like foot spa with a great view of Mt Aso. Dinner and breakfast was great and staff were friendly and able to speak english.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the public area. I like the female service staffs that good communication in english and help me to setting up the surprise happy birthday party for my daughters.

39 km from Mount Aso, Yamashinobu features a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in the Ota Onsen district of Minamioguni. The ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath, public bath and open-air bath. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We arrived by car and the staff was already waiting at the entrance to help carry our luggage into the ryokan. We were greeted by another staff and given a tour around the ryokan, before showing us our room. We booked the one with a private onsen bath, but there were also public indoor and outdoor baths. By 6pm we went to the dinner which is a kaiseki-ryōri, the meal was exquisite and delicious. The same goes for the breakfast next morning. We visited in mid-December and there was a light snow in the morning. It was an amazing experience to bath in the outdoor onsen in the snow!

Free Wi-Fi is offered in the public area, and parking is available for free. The staff are very kind and hospitable. The meals are delicious! I think I got a great value for my stay and will recommend Wakaba for future trips!
