Situato a Minamioguni, a 39 km da Monte Aso, Shikinosato Hanamura prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. Room was very spacious. There were 3 heaters in the room, so definately warm enough to anyone's liking if you needed. Room onsen was nice. Food was in a private dining room for dinner and breakfast. There was a very nice lounge to relax in as well. There is a public cave onsen that was quite special. In winter, roads may have snow and need to be wary if driving in.

We can feel the dedication and care that the hotel owner puts into managing the hotel. Every detail, from the room decor to the food and service for breakfast and dinner, is meticulously prepared. The comfort and decoration in the rooms feel very thoughtful! You can see the sakura petal decorations on the windows and the high-quality patterned and textured toilet paper in the bathroom, showing the owner’s attention to detail. Each room has its own private hot spring bath and toilet. We were pleasantly surprised that the hot spring water flows continuously, which is a huge plus for us after a tiring journey. The preparation of breakfast and dinner in the restaurant is also very thoughtful. The staff provide excellent service, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, it is truly perfect. We would give it a full score.

Il Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan vanta 5 vasche termali, tra cui una lunga 30 metri. The staff was extremely helpful, parking our car for us and helping us navigate. The cave onsen was stunning, as the cave was much larger than I expected and very interesting, and the water was very relaxing. The food was also incredible!

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. This ryokan is the best I have visited in my life. The outside onsen was so beautiful, clean and relaxing (I went twice and was alone). The food was amazing and the room with private onsen was so cozy. The garden is so pretty and there were many corners just to quietly seat around. Also, they offered transportation to the bus station both ways. It is absolutely recommended!!

Located in Minami Aso in the Kumamoto Region, 10 km from Naka-dake, Hotel Yumeshizuku boasts a hot spring bath and sauna. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. A lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We had a fabulous stay. The meals were ALL exceptional! It's a beautiful setting and perfectly located for hiking around Mt Aso.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... Amazingly friendly and attentive staff. Our Japanese is very poor but they made every effort to accommodate us and make us feel welcome!

Immerso in un sereno paesaggio verde vicino a un fiume, il Fumoto Ryokan offre varie vasche termali al coperto e all'aperto, sistemazioni dal fascino antico in stile tradizionale giapponese e il WiFi... Excellent hospitality from staff We couldn't find the ryokan and stuck in the no entry road and parking aside, my sis walk to the ryokan and the staff come to me and help to drive my car to the ryokan and thereafter help to park my car as the road there is really narrow. The staff are really attentive as we were "hands free" checking in and out as our luggage were very well taking care of. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent from the taste to the display of the food.

We liked everything: Yamashinobu is elegant, relaxing, beautiful and with many different onsen to try. The staff is kind and helpful and the food is exceptionally good. Would absolutely love to return.
