Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Service was flawless, the food was perfect, and the baths were great. My room was good for my needs, it was quiet, and the waterfall and rivers outside was a great source of white noise. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and were very flexible with arrivaltime. They went above and beyond to accommodate our special dietary needs, showing exceptional care and effort. Their kindness and high level of service made our stay special - thanks! The onsens were a highlight—especially the outdoor ones. The variety of both private and shared baths allowed us to enjoy peaceful, relaxing moments in beautiful surroundings. As it's a smaller ryokan, the atmosphere was intimate and personal, which made our experience more unique. We stayed for two nights, and the ryokan surprised us with two different dining experiences in two separate rooms. It was a fun and memorable touch—and the food was excellent on both nights, beautifully presented with great attention to detail. We highly recommend Ryokan Yamanoyu and would love to return one day. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Costruito nel 1722, l'Okyakuya sorge nel quartiere storico di Kurokawa Onsen. Situato a soli 100 m dal Kurokawa Onsen, l'hotel offre il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, our waitress for our dinner was very fun to converse with, along with everyone else we spoke with. The dinner was very well made, the facilities were beautiful, and our rooms were everything we could’ve asked for. The location is also excellent in the middle of everything, allowing for an easy walk around Kurokawa.

We can feel the dedication and care that the hotel owner puts into managing the hotel. Every detail, from the room decor to the food and service for breakfast and dinner, is meticulously prepared. The comfort and decoration in the rooms feel very thoughtful! You can see the sakura petal decorations on the windows and the high-quality patterned and textured toilet paper in the bathroom, showing the owner’s attention to detail. Each room has its own private hot spring bath and toilet. We were pleasantly surprised that the hot spring water flows continuously, which is a huge plus for us after a tiring journey. The preparation of breakfast and dinner in the restaurant is also very thoughtful. The staff provide excellent service, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, it is truly perfect. We would give it a full score.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Posso solo dire che è eccezionale. Located in Minami Aso in the Kumamoto Region, 10 km from Naka-dake, Hotel Yumeshizuku boasts a hot spring bath and sauna. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. The private onsen was very nice. Hotel had good facilities like foot spa with a great view of Mt Aso. Dinner and breakfast was great and staff were friendly and able to speak english.

Immerso in un sereno paesaggio verde vicino a un fiume, il Fumoto Ryokan offre varie vasche termali al coperto e all'aperto, sistemazioni dal fascino antico in stile tradizionale giapponese e il WiFi... We had such a lovely stay! The staff were very helpful and kind and we loved all of the private onsens on the property. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic as well.
