Situato a Minamioguni, a 39 km da Monte Aso, Shikinosato Hanamura prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. The staff were amazing. Even if they didn’t speak English they still tried their best to accommodate any request we had and the food was amazing!

The Onsen were amazing and many to chose from. If you arrive by bus it’s good to contact for a pick up as it’s a bit of a distance from kurokawa village.

So homey and warm. Friendly and helpful staff. Super friendly for pet! Comfy bed and relaxing onsen. Food was really delicious!

Il Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan vanta 5 vasche termali, tra cui una lunga 30 metri. The staff was extremely helpful, parking our car for us and helping us navigate. The cave onsen was stunning, as the cave was much larger than I expected and very interesting, and the water was very relaxing. The food was also incredible!

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Posso solo dire che è eccezionale. La struttura, lo staff, i pasti, davvero tutto di alto livello! Le ottime recensioni avevano alzato le aspettative, ma forse è stato perfino meglio di quel che credevo.

Located in Minami Aso in the Kumamoto Region, 10 km from Naka-dake, Hotel Yumeshizuku boasts a hot spring bath and sauna. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. Worth the trip, and you can communicate in English.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... Amazingly friendly and attentive staff. Our Japanese is very poor but they made every effort to accommodate us and make us feel welcome!

Immerso in un sereno paesaggio verde vicino a un fiume, il Fumoto Ryokan offre varie vasche termali al coperto e all'aperto, sistemazioni dal fascino antico in stile tradizionale giapponese e il WiFi... Our stay at Fumoto Ryokan was absolutely incredible. The staff did a fantastic job throughout our stay and making sure every detail of the trip was just perfect. Our room had a wonderful view of the adjacent river and was so comfortable and spacious - a nice change of pace after traveling Japans big cities. Even as a very tall guy, they provided me with an appropriate Yukuta and I could enjoy the onsen experience in full. The baths themselves are amazing - both the shared outdoor one and the private bath rooms. There are plenty of the latter, so if you prefer your privacy you‘ll have plenty of options, some of them even with outdoor views. Then there is the food. The courses are absolutely delicious and so plentiful, that we found ourselves struggling to finish all of it sometimes. The quality of the dishes and the presentation is so high, the (not cheap) room price seems very reasonable in hindsight. To sum it up: this was a 10/10 experience and we can’t wait to come back someday.
