The place was amazing and calm, and both the private bath, and the family one was clean, comfortable and great. The location is really close also to the lake, and the main street to explore during the day. Futon was really comfortable, and they provided a kotatsu since it was really cold outside. It was a dreamy traditional japanese stay.

I enjoyed this hotel for its stunning mountain views, and we were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves during our stay. However, there is room for improvement in the onsen facilities

The guest house is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The location is amazing. It's convenient, close to public transport and also close to many sightseeing areas. You also get a great view of Beppu from the area around the hostel. The interior of the hostel is fantastic, you could spend hours looking at all the decorations and talking about your favorite shows. Tosi was also an incredible host who went above and beyond to make my stay as special as possible.

Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kagoshima, like hiking and fishing. I have booked this hotel just for the view, and I was not disappointed. Few of the staff members did speak English which is huge plus, I did ship my suitcases to different hotel and they helped me with all of this. You can buy day pass at the hotel which was amazing. Also huge plus was the fact that they do offer the lift to Kagoshima station and back. Their breakfast is to die for. The location is super nice too the tram station is just next to the hotel.

Yuki was a wonderful host and there were just the right amount of amenities for a comfortable stay. I traveled here with my 7 year old son, and he liked the tatami room and the foot onsen, as well as the bath indoors too. Thank you!
