Wonderful ambience. Don't just catch the ferry for the day - stay on the island It's unforgettable.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Fantastische onsen, heerlijk avondmaal en ontbijt, elke keer anders, gratis shuttle, ligging. Wij hadden 2 verschillende kamers omdat er geen 2 nachten in dezelfde kamer vrij waren en van de verhuis hoefden we ons niks aan te trekken. Dat werd allemaal perfect voor ons geregeld.

This location is a bit outside of Hiroshima, but very easy to get to by cab or train. The facilities were beautiful, and our room was comfortable with very thoughtful amenities and a beautiful private onsen. The main lobby has bountiful snacks and an incredible sake selection, as well as tons of other beverages that we could help ourselves to as we pleased. Both of our meals were so delicious, much more food than we were able to eat, and our whole party got to share a private dining room with an open hearth. This was truly a wonderful experience, and I would recommend anyone to book here and make the trip!

It was a highlight of my trip! The staff were so kind and attentive and even drove me from and to the bus station. The food was great and their gift shop was full of lovely items.

The available private onsen has the same wonderful view plus the enjoynment of soaking in the hot mineral water! The breakfast is buffet type with extensive range of choices. While dinner time is the japanese course menu. Unfortunately for both the cuisine stays the same, while for breakfast it is undestandable, but for dinner they only changed the appetizer, the other dishes stayed exactly the same, so it could be bland taste if overstaying more than 1-2 nights.

LiVEMAX RESORT Aki Miyajima is voorzien van kamers in Miyajima, dicht bij The great Torii en Momijidani Park. Hotel is wat hoger gelegen tegen berg aan, in een rustige buurt. De warme baden waren in een andere locatie in het hotel waren perfect. We hadden een kamer met traditionele bedden (slapen op futons) en daar moet je wel tegen kunnen 😉. Het totaal van het totaal, behalve de lobby, oogt wat versleten. De wifi was matig, behalve in de lobby.

She politely refused to take any tip and mentioned, it was her job. We are blown away by her caring attitude and honesty. We wish her good luck.
