And one must not forget to use the spa service at the top floor of the hotel.

The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The common living room is great. You have 2 onsens: outside, with rocks and mountain views, inside, modern. Capsules are comfy.

Situated in Hakone, 500 metres from Hakone Gora Park, Hakone Yutowa features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Loved the entire facility - was fantastic for a family (2 adults, 2 kids under 6 + grandparents). We booked two rooms and they were super spacious, lots of room to lounge about and also for the kids to jump and get their energy out. On-site facilities were fantastic - private onsen bath in our bathroom was amazing to relax in, plus the "public" onsen was also super relaxing. There was a play area for kids which they really enjoyed, and the kids loved the free snacks, icy poles and hot chocolate/soft drinks. Breakfast was buffet and delicious. Was very easy to get to - just 5 mins walk from Gora station, and super easy to catch cable car up mountain or train to do the Hakone Loop. Also walking distance to the Hakone Open Air museum. Overall very very family friendly, and we spent a couple of afternoons just enjoying the very relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely rooms, great onsen, friendly and helpful staff. Really close to Gora station for the cable car (beat the crowds in the morning) and to get back to Tokyo. Family Mart and Lawson nearby. Great value for money. Nice breakfast.

Nestled a 15-minute up-hill walk or a 4-minute bus ride away from Hakone Yumoto Station, Onsen Hostel K's House Hakone offers free WiFi throughout the entire property and an open-air hot-spring bath. Easily the most positive surprise during my trip as I booked the last available bed quite late. Very good bed(double in the dorm room), comfortable with quite a lot of storage space and your own window! They change towels daily as well which was a big plus. Toilets outside of the room which is always great, the onsen was such an amazing thing to have right in the hostel after a day of hiking, it’s small but can fit about 8 people and is a very relaxing experience. The staff were very nice and helpful with good tips for hiking and food in the area. The common areas! They were truly amazing with nice decor and good facilities, the kitchen well-stocked and two guest fridges. The main living room is spacious with plenty of seating and various board games to be played and a terrace! Overall it was an amazing stay and I didn’t not expect to meet such great people. The walk to the hostel from the station is not that bad! Just a steep incline for about 5 minutes other than that pretty easy if you just have a backpack.
