It was an amazing experience to stay on the house of Fatmir, Fjona and the little Dardan. I was travelling some time for beautiful places in Albania but I was missing to be in authentic place not touristic and Zhulat was by far the best place I stayed. Suddenly I was part of the family, they prepared a great meal with most of the ingredients coming from their garden. The room was very comfortable and clean. The surroundings were so special, in the middle of beautiful mountains with a river very close by.

Camping Shtepez is a recently renovated campground in Gjirokastër, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking.

Not only location of the hotel is extraordinary but also the building itself. Like the name says it is built from stones. Inside it is very pretty and you feel the love used to provide vistors a pleasant stay. A highlight was the breakfast outside on the sunny terrace. Finally room price is more than fair.

This was my favorite hotel in Albania! The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. The location is perfect for visiting the castle and old town. The host Maradona was absolutely incredible! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left he was there to help. He gave us a lift to the old town (twice) and was just a super friendly and helpful at all times. We ate at his restaurant and the food was amazing too! Home cooked traditional food and good beer and wine. I will definitely return to this hotel again in the future. He made us feel at home and we really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely hotel just 5 minutes walk from the Bazaar, and 10 from Gjirokaster castle. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast included was super tasty! Great value for money over all

the Hotel Gjirokaster is in the perfect location to the bazaar area, restaurants and close to the historic castle. the staff were amazing and very helpful. our room was lovely and had a view facing the bazaar area. there is a nice clean pool and lounging area. It was a much needed rest day for us.

Extremely nicely renovated rooms in an ancient building in the old town, close to every attraction. The owners have decorated the rooms with delicate taste themed on the original building purpose, a stitching factory. We have been warmly welcomed upon our arrival and were able to meet the owners. Breakfast was delicious! Definitely the best experience of our Albanian trip, by far.

The accommodation was excellently located in Gjirokastar. The decor is very nice and there is a parking lot right next to the house. The staff are really nice and very helpful. We would love to come back.
