We stayed in the Altes Kloster for a family break. The hotel was really comfortable and clean. The check in process was very simple and the staff were really friendly. The location is perfect if travelling to Bratislavia or Vienna. The room was huge and really comfortable. This was one of the best hotels I stayed in for a long time based on the price paid.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this guesthouse, and everything was absolutely perfect. The location was fantastic—convenient and close to everything I needed, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The host was incredible—so welcoming and attentive, making sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spotless and well-appointed, making it feel like a true home away from home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!

    Lovely old city within the old walls and with the castle nearby. The hotel is hostorical and is situated in the very center of the old city. Danube just 2 minutes away. Lovely walk arround the city and down the Danube. Great free parking. Nice rooms, comfy beds. Tasty food and good breakfast. It was a shame that next morning after our stay it was pouring with rain so we couldn't have walked any more.

    The hotel's location is perfect. It is in an anciet building. It has an own parking lot. The staff is very kind and helpful, they help you whatever problem pops up. The room was spacious, we also liked the design. The breakfast was also good. The hotel is pet friendly!

    The atmosphere is great, being in an old monastery. The ceilings are high and vaulted, the interior is simple, but tasteful. We had a room facing the Donau and unlike some other reviewers here, we didn't hear anything from the post. We did see their cars, but we heard no noise. The room had a double window. No airconditioning, but there was a fan. The room is big and spacy, there is a fridge. Great to have free parking behind the building.

    The breakfast is not free and it's not possible to order it on booking. But the breakfast was a very good one. Amazing point of view from the window. Free parking.

    It's a good hotel in an old building but with all the modern facilities. Guests should take into account that there is no door in the shower in the room)) it is not broken, it is not provided by the design) As for parking, the description indicates that the hotel has private parking, in fact, there is a municipal free parking near the hotel, where they offer to park if there is space. We had no problems with the availability of seats, although we arrived for the festival weekend.

    Breakfast was fresh, the selection was not too wide but it was delicious. The room was spacious and we had a bottle of mineral water for free every day. Free parking place in front of the hotel, we find place even when there was a concert in the neighbouring Kulturplatz. We could discover the entire region due to its central location. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good, however we really recommend Restaurant Karnunt!
