Beautiful place with great hospitality. Ma Luisa, Silvia and Jorge made our stay incredible. The homemade food was delicious. The view of Chicamocha canyon is outstanding and the birds flying around is a plus. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at The Cabanas Del Chicamocha.It is so a beautiful place in so a wonderful area.It is so nice,so quiet with an unforgettable view to the Canon Del Chicamocha. The owner is very,very helpful.He answers very quickly to all your wishes and organizes taxis and meals. All was perfect at this very special place.We are so happy to have beeing there . A great place to stay while hiking the Camino Real. The pool was very refreshing after a long day in hot temperatures. I had the whole place to myself, and the meals were delicious. They have one private room, and several hammocks to sleep in. Can recommend.

Great hosts. Great breakfast. Great location...if you have a car as it is a bit outside of town. That said, being outside of town is one of its charms. Life doesn't get much better than burying yourself in one of the hammocks and uncoupling from the world.

Friendly staff, who helped us with everything we needed. Amazing quiet place in the middle of the nature with a beautiful garden with many birds and a nice swimming pool. They offer a Turkish steam bath service, which was really relaxing. The garden offers many places to relax. Many restaurants in San Gil have a delivery service to this hostel. The surrounding is great for walking and birdwatching. We had a private kitchen next to our room. The hotel dog is the sweetest dog ever!

We originally stayed at the hotel one night but enjoyed it so much that we returned for a second. The hotel is conveniently located just outside of San Gil. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had hot water which is a great bonus when traveling in the more rural areas. The food was excellent and affordable. We want to thank Mauricio who made us feel like home and made our stay very enjoyable.
