The Hostess, Sonia, was most welcoming and accommodating and made us feel at home. The house is very new and modern. We had access to the outdoor kitchen and patio. There were several grocery stores nearby if you choose to make your own meal. The house is also centrally located between Playa Flamingo (25 min driving) and Playa Hermosa/Penca (28 min driving), and is about 30 min away from the airport, so we were well-positioned for our last 2 days of exploring CR. The sunsets at Flamingo were priceless! And snorkeling at Penca was amazing during morning hours till about 11 a.m. at which time the wind picked up.

We had the best time here! It’s run by the sweetest family who instantly make you feel at home. From the moment you arrive, with a big, cozy towel waiting for you, everything feels super thoughtful. Every morning, fresh coffee magically appears on your own little terrace, and if you’re in the mood you can treat yourself to a delicious breakfast too. The place is super clean, comfy, and full of good vibes. Such a chill and lovely spot.

My children and I spent 5 wonderful days in la Quebrada Ecolodge- the "beach huts" were perfectly equipped and decorated with such attention to detail and love, the beds were comfortable, the clear and warm water in the swimming pool so appeasing- it really felt like paradise, luxurious and homely at the same time. It is ideally located, 5-10 mins walk from the beach and from the centre with sodas and eateries serving delicious food. It is also 10-15 mins drive to Las Catalinas and other fabulous beaches on the coast. A big thank you to Carmen and Christian who surpassed all our expectations. They treated us with such care and generosity, arranged an amazing horseriding tour on the beach with Eddy and made themselves available to help us discover the beauty of this part of the country. We truly thank you for this unforgettable experience. Gina, Emma-Lu and Sebastiano xxx

The cabins were great. So cleaned and looked after. The host was amazing, very friendly, and helped us with recommendations of places to check around the area. The accommodation is not far from Playa Potrero (stunning beach and area). We were near all the restaurants but the hotel was hidden in nature. We loved absolutely everything about this place. Our stay at Casa Papito exceeded our expectations. We found a clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable room with everything we needed. The kitchen is very well-equipped too. Located at walking distance from Potrero beach, and just minutes from other nearby beaches (the sunset at Penca was stunning). The pool is tempered with easy access and just the right size and depth to relax and have a good time with our son, and to top it up, our hosts; Daniel and Charlotte, made us feel right at home with their warm touch. We also booked a Gyrocopter tour (Daniel is the pilot) overseeing several beaches, recommended if you are looking to experience some adventure as well. We will be coming back as frequently as possible.

Can’t fault this place. It’s very family orientated. If you have WhatsApp it’s really easy to communicate with the hotel. You ask for anything and they are there within a flash. I know it’s not everyone’s forte but we were really appreciative of the fact that you can’t bring animals or smoke on the complex as I have very bad allergies. You all have your own table and chairs to sit out the front around the pool. You can even take your own food and drink on site and treat your room as your home. There is a gated entrance and you need a key fob to get in. It is extremely safe. If you like your Snorkling and scuba diving the office is literally a 5 minute walk, 2 minute drive or they collect you. The prices for these activities were reasonable. We say hump back wales swimming in the harbour too. It was such a good location.
