The fact that pets were welcome was a plus as I had my dog with me. The room was large and well appointed with plenty of room for me and my dog. The shower room was good with a superb shower system. My room was on the ground floor which again was ideal. There was adequate free parking with an excellent associated restaurant just a few paces away that boosted an excellent menu. The rooms are clearly newly renovated and very clean. The heating works really well in both room and bathroom. Self service bar at reception (pay at check out). Good breakfast (not like a 5 star hotel, but excellent for the price). About 10 car parking spots that are free for customers. Free chocolate, bottle of water, tea and coffee in hotel room.
