Great stopover it was a shame it was only one night. However Lauren gave me advice as to what to do in my limited time. All worked out great and I had a great preview as to what see you Ciudad Rodrigo has to offer. I shall definitely visit again to spend more time looking at the incredible City and it's surrounding natural beauty. Lauren was particularly helpful and shows a genuine interest into accommodating guests however short their needs may be. I can imagine using the casita for a fantastic longer break in the area.

Superb location and lovely hotel with clean comfortable room  good air-conditioning, which made it a very pleasant stay.

Loved our stay would have liked to know some history of the hotel

The setting of the hotel in the castle 🏰 was fantastic, had half board and the food was excellent both breakfast and dinner. The bedroom and bathroom where both modern and well fitted out

Lovely friendly welcome. Charming little house, charming interior and very comfortable. The bed linen was very pretty and crisp, good quality. Interesting furnishings - very homely. Beautifully tended garden. Nice BBQ area - great for families and dogs! Safely fenced garden and good parking right outside. Plus: don't miss the Talho (butcher) - large barn type building - just as you turn left on the road towards Casa Rural - excellent meat & great little grocery!

We visited to see the wildlife and it was a truly amazing experience, the vulture hide was something we'll never forget, the night hide, beach marten and gennet cat and fantastic bird life walking around the reserve. Accommodation is not luxury which we new before hand, but perfectly acceptable for a few nights, all the staff were really helpful and it felt like a bit of Africa in Spain.
