Very nice place on the country side. Quite and all what you'll need you'll find there. The host is very friendly and professional. I just wait to comeback on Patrick house and next time to stay longer to have time for a glass of wine with him. Also is there a very good restaurant gourmet, but reservation in advance is mandatory.

This was a delightful place for a stopover on our way south. Patricia looked after us beautifully. The room was lovely - clean, bright, airy and comfortable. The added bonus of having a swimming pool was much appreciated after a long drive. Breakfast was wonderful - lots of fresh fruit included. We were able to walk to a restaurant, recommended by Patricia, for dinner - 3 courses for 25€ each and superb quality. We loved the Boule d'Or !

Le Pigeonnier is a beautiful gites for everyone who likes peace and quiet and luxury. The kitchen is fully stocked and it was lovely to have a bottle of wine, tea, coffee and milk when we arrived. Jonathan is a super host. We really appreciated that he brought us baguette and croissant on the first morning for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the shower super. Jonathan not only met us personally but was also very responsive when we had any questions. I can highly recommend Le Pigeonnier if you want to visit the Cognac region.

We had a brilliant stay. So much so that we stayed an extra night. Our host was absolutely charming and very welcoming. We had a delicious meal one evening and the breakfasts were superb. We loved our room with a view, the peace and tranquility and the gorgeous views. Everything is immaculate, comfortable, modern and clean. Although the property is off the beaten track, it’s very easy to get to and to visit some lovely towns and the Gironde Estuary. The pool area is an added bonus.
