What did we like? The short answer is: everything. It's a family run glamping site in the middle of nowhere. The family is very nice and friendly, the site is very well maintained, clean toilets and showers, very good kitchen. Beautiful location!

This place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is worth the journey even if you're not staying at the hotel. I discovered it last year when I was doing the Cateran trail and popped in to see if I could pitch my tent in the field they use for campervans. I ended up having a meal and a few drinks and it was so good I decided to come back this year when doing the Cateran trail again and stay in the hotel this time. The restaurant is only open on limited days, and is worth booking in advance. They have a self serve breakfast with various items and I believe they do microwave meals for guests when the restaurant isn't open. It's a rural hotel off the beaten track a bit but it's well worth the trip. There are plenty of walks and nice scenery around and it's a short drive to glenshee. Please support the hotel so it can remain open for me to come back!! :)

The cottage is very cozy, neat and tidy. Lots of flowers motifs and romantic atmosphere. The bed is super comfy and all the facilities you need are provided. Filip and Gavin are great hosts and do know how to make you feel at home. We have been pleasantly spoilt with a superb breakfast and are looking forward to our next visit in Blairgowrie!

Super comfortable and friendly host. Stunning interior and rooms with spacious bathrooms and large beds and room with lounge area also plus nice drinks and chill out lounge downstairs. Excellent breakfast and lovely garden. A real gem of a find. Host was very knowledgeable about local attractions and tips too.
