Everything we could ask for and more was available, even a dish washer and washing machine! Clean, cosy due to the warm feeling of the wooden cabine, nice decoration, etc. Quite location with very nice view over the loch. We come back!

This Highland haven was a bijou. Nestled on a Croft, it provided a welcome break from the camper van. It was so comfortable and the thoughtful owners had covered all bases. There was even ice for my G&T ready in the freezer box. The views were truly stunning and the welcome warm. I would not hesitate to recommend the Shepherd’s hut to travellers - we just wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

Great location for easy road access for touring, with plenty of parking, and for walking into Ullapool for dinner. Room was cosy but beautifully presented. Great breakfast, pleasant staff and owner. The welcome dram was a lovely touch.

Our stay at Highland Rooms was superb - the room was wonderful and beautifully decorated. The bed & pillows were so comfortable, we had the best nights sleep of our trip! The hosts have thought of so many little extras to make your stay enjoyable. Although breakfast is not served we were given some excellent recommendations within walking distance & the restaurant suggested for evening meal was very good If you’re planning on a trip to Ullapool I would most definitely recommend Highland Rooms

Beautiful location with views on the loch Warm welcome from Stephen who, even, tried to speak French with us Excellent breakfast with a great choice of muesli, jams and teas, and home grown fruits We were lucky to enjoy a delicious diner on our first evening.

I can't express how impressed I was with Croft Cottage. My wife booked it last minute, unseen, as we were just looking for a bed for the night. I was expecting small quarters and a staff more interested in my wallet than me. BOY WAS I WRONG! Our room was huge and clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a full bath, not just a stand up shower, towel warmer, all the little extras I didn't expect. The house had recently been renovated and you could tell no shortcuts were taken. Julian and John, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast the next morning was made to order to perfection. I would almost travel back to Scotland just to stay here again. If you're ever in the Ullapool area you would be missing out by not staying at the Crof Cottage.

Wonderful location. The hosts were really nice. We arrived in the middle of a storm and they sent us text messages to make sure we were OK and offered to help us on the walk. Incredible place, I wish we would have stayed longer! Thanks for everything.
