Perfect place for our weekend away!! My husband and I and our grandson and girlfriend loved the comfort and cosiness of this place. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Met the owners Steve and Hazel, lovely welcoming couple, on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend, and return!!☺️

The warm welcome. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and smiling ! It's a sheer pleasure to talk to them, even for a shy person like me. The location of the hôtel allows us to breath some fresh air and have a walk in the forest few seconds away from it. The comfort in the apartment was perfect ! And what a beautiful view from the window ! The restaurant was excellent too. I lived in a dream throughout my trip thanks to all of them.

This accommodation is brand new and as such it’s all fresh and in perfect condition. Beds comfortable, shower really good, air conditioning and heating system brilliant. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good. Overall you get the feeling that the people involved are making a real effort. That’s something that I really appreciate.

We stayed in a room called Captain's Suite and I couldn't have enjoyed more. The size of the room was great, and the views from the balcony really enjoyable. I would definitely stay again if I ever go to Forest of Dean.

Lovely warm heritage house with comfortable beds and several common areas which could be enjoyed by all guests. Lovely grounds. Hospitable, knowledgeable, and kind proprietors. Well equipped. Easy to access the highway. Loved the jar of cookies left for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being older, we very much appreciated the assistance to get our cases upstairs.

    Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Staff were great, rooms were excellent and the facilities were superb. Breakfast was excellent buffet. Free parking with lots of spaces. Will definitely return here when working near again.

    Location was convenient for our business in town. Car parking was available on site. Hotel was easy to find. One staff member (out of 5 approached) was helpful. Our room was located at the other end of the complex to a Christmas party that was happening on one of the nights.

    A repeat visit to the Bells Hotel. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Good size room with a comfortable bed, excellent lighting and a bathroom with bath and shower. Easy parking in the large car park.

    Good signposting. Easy to find. Ample car parking. Function room for parties etc separate from accommodation and well sound proofed. Spacious double room. Bed huge as two single beds attached under bedding. Breakfast was in the clubhouse opposite but I didn’t go over there. Nice view from window. Lovely and warm. Left undisturbed by housekeeping for three nights (as is their custom), but you can ask for room to be serviced at reception. There is a gym and spa too, but I didn’t try either.
