Our family stayed here for three nights. We had an amazing time! Situated on a ridge above the village, Aranka Tempasan offers wonderful views of Mount Rinjani in the background. Reached via a macadam path, it feels like you've entered another world when you arrive. There are also various activities on offer with a local guide. We visited an authentic local village and took a trip into the nearby jungle to see the waterfalls. We also took a painting course. The owner, Berry, is very warm-hearted and has a great sense of how to run the business. Together with the very kind staff, he runs the business as a community. Needless to say, the food is delicious, too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in nature and experience the local way of life.

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful, with a lovely view of Mount Rinjani if ​​you wake up early in the morning, as well as direct access to the rice fields. Everything is super clean and well-appointed. Fathul is probably the nicest host we have ever met. He was super helpful with organizing trips and experiencing local customs, showed us around in the garden and he makes a killer breakfast. The rooms are new and therefore clean and located in the middle of the rice fields. We highly recommend.

The accommodation is tastefully decorated and well finished. All the furnishings and fittings are high quality. There was attention to detail in its construction. The apartment is cosy and feels like you could be anywhere in the world. The grounds are well kept, and the location is peaceful. The staff were helpful and professional.

This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—not just in a homestay but in any hotel we’ve stayed at. You’ll be welcomed by an amazing family who make you feel like you’re truly part of their own. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to join them on unique excursions like visiting cultural villages, learning to make coconut oil from scratch with the whole family, or exploring the rice fields with their cousin. The stay also includes a delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, and if you’d like dinner, you can enjoy it at their cozy little restaurant on-site. We had an unforgettable time and already can’t wait to come back. This family has made us feel like one of their own, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and generosity. We still have so many things to say but we’ll let you go and try it by yourself. Thank you so much again—see you very soon!

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed by the hosts. They went above and behind to let us feel at home and very comfortable at their place. Our kids enjoyed the rice fields and waterfall near by. And we all really liked our lunch, dinner and breakfast.
