Its the place what we were looking for ,far from the noisy environment of Darjeeling . I visited Darjeeling before and stayed in a hotel in the center experienced badly that time. Bloomfield is a place almost in the nature. We were really lost with the fantastic atmosphere . Its not a 5 star or a 4 star hotel in the city with high class bedroom but it's a romantic place. The staffs are very cordial . In the evening bonfire used to lit everyday where clients can enjoy the fire and their glasses. Mr.Arun ,the manager was always very careful ,he used to bring tea early in the morning to the room. Driver Chetan is an excellent chap, cracking cheeky jokes always when we used to go out with . He is also a good guide. I really miss this fantastic place. Surely I go back.

A very warm welcome, incredibly helpful staff, and an excellent breakfast. The location was great for exploring the area near the Peace Pagoda, and an easy 15 minute walk along Gandhi Road to the Mall. Ayush and Pramash went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and interesting. A huge thankyou to both of them.

Superb staff. Extremely helpful and always with an endearing smile. The GM Mr Sanjay Nangia, runs a very tight ship. The staff love and respect him. Where else in Darjeeling can you lie in bed and watch the sun play out its colours on Kanchenjunga and her six sisters.

The view was amazing. The stay was comfortable and the home clean. Many homestays didn't have parking facility as it is really hard to find any stays with parking but this homestay had and left us enjoying the scenery throughout our stay. Really grateful for the host, they were really friendly.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Inn location is great, near to zoo- HMI- Museum, Mall Road. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful. They made sure that the stay is comfortable, even arranged cab facilities for pick and drop and sightseeing with reasonable pricing. Great coordination from end to end!

During our 5-day-stay in Darjeeling, my wife and I were looking for a budget-friendly accomodation that offers everything we need. With Asraya Homestay, we got much more than that. The owner is extremely polite, attentive and caring, while also being very professional and respectful of the guests wishes. The homestay is very new, and accordingly the rooms are freshly renovated, clean and modern. We considered the bathroom with its modern, fresh look and state-of-the-art appliances and the balcony with its amazing view the highlights of the room - and you get all that without putting a big dent in your wallet. All in all, we were very pleased with the room. The only thing that we considered a smal downside was that the temperature in the room was a bit low - a heater is offered for a small daily fee. The hospitality of the host family is unparalalled- they are welcoming in a very warm way while also being open to deeper topics and discussions. What was most amazing to us is that if we needed anything at all, the host, Vicky, was more than happy to help us out with tips or by referring us to the right people. His connections to all kinds of different people as well as his in-depth local knowledge about Darjeeling really shines through here. Their homecooked, organic food is very tasty and was pleasing to our western stomachs due to not being spicy, which is rare to find in India. +A small kitten came to visit every morning :) Also, a big thank you to Sahil and Pratik, who are super humble, friendly and always ready to help. If we ever come to Darjeeling again, we will without a doubt choose Asraya homestays again.
