Probably the best chilles out place you get in kohima... It is a true hostel and the host is amazing... Thanks Theja for such a great experience... The hostel is centrally located and the night market is just 50metres... You have easy access to cabs, cafes and markets around... Internet connection is pretty good and one can consider for workation... A 10/5 experience. Gonna get back next year during the hornbill ❤❤

Excellent stay, bed and room is exactly as depicted and very comfortable. Staff were incredibly homely and welcoming and made traditional meals on demand for me. Was very flexible in terms of keeping my bag in the room for the night while I left for a hike and helped in rearranging onward travel

Staying with Christi was one of the highlights of my travels. A delightful, warm and smiling hostess whose aim is her guest's happiness. Fluent English so we had some wonderful, interesting conversations - I learned a lot about Angami culture and history of the region. Don't miss her cooking which is FABULOUS ... full of flavour, easy on the spice. The accomodation is good value - a large room with shared bathroom with plenty of hot water. About a 25 minute walk to Bamboo Mkt. Maple Homestay is priced for the budget traveller (shared bathroom) but her hospitality and cooking should be a draw for all budgets.
