Afsal is a very careful person that puts a lot of soul into the property. The place is very sweet and the location is just perfect. But beyond the charm of the space itself however is the positive vibe that it emanates. Just being there makes you feel good because of the attitude of the hosts. Lawrence the owner is an absolute highlight, he went out his way to arrange pick up from Kochi airport with great driver. Once we arrived he settled us in straight away and even drove us to the village as the property is slightly out the way to pick up some rain coats and food. Outside of that the home itself is so cosy and and relaxing. You hear nothing but the sound of nature.

Room much bigger than expected for a homestay. Nice and bright, very clean. The hosts were kind, generous people who went out of their way to make my stay in Kumily a good one. The food was delicious and couldn't have been better. I would have loved to have stayed longer than my 3 nights.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 5 nights, and by the end, we felt like family. The rooms were clean and offered a lovely view of the trees, where we could spot some animals in the afternoon.
