It is such a cozy little place in the middle of nowhere. If you are travelling from akureyri to Reykjavik and can’t find any campsites nearby, stay here. Hands down the best place we have stayed.

All was so nice, the position directly on the coast. We saw seal in the morning playing around. We just didn't have a luck with aurora :(. The rooms are nice and cosy and big. Kitchen perfect.

This guesthouse is really amazing. The kitchen is huge and have many equipments to cook without waiting ( 3 sinks, 5 hot plates). There is a coffee machine as well. I definitelly recommand.

We stayed at several places around Iceland for a similar price, but nothing came close to the experience we had at this guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They personally showed us to our room, which was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. We were amazed at how many extras were included: we received bath robes, we could do our laundry, make tea and waffles, enjoy homemade rhubarb jam straight from their garden, and even wash our car! On top of that, the relaxing sauna and hot tub made it the perfect end to the day of exploring. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and the warmth and generosity of the hosts made a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family – and we hope to return ourselves someday!

It is a old bungalow converted to Guesthouse. It has all the facilities and many rooms. Has a small garden and one can go down to the sea if weather permits. It is way from the ring road but a very adorable property. Owners left fresh milk for us, it was delicious.

Very warm welcome by the hosts. We had a pleasure stay with kind help on all our questions. We got a very cute eastern breakfast, would definitely recommend staying here and someday we will come back!
