Hotel - very nice layout. The best of our trip. Room was very spacious, especially for Japan. Staff were very professional and helpful - booking reservations for us (recommended with the better restaurants in the area). Location - walking distance to most sites. Very short walk to the market. A bit of a walk from the train station but certainly doable for most people. Bed was large and comfortable, and room was quiet. Bonus - laundry facilities, and a first for me, you could monitor the 4 washing machines on the floor below with your TV! Love Japan!

We loved everything about Kurumiya. The character, the craftsmanship, lovely spacious room with comfy beds and onsen bath, very friendly and attentive hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My husband liked the Netflix. Beautiful Japanese breakfast which was different every day. The location was good too. Near Higashi Chaya and Omicron markets with Machi-Nori cycle share point right across the road and buses nearby.

The room we had in this lovely 100 year old building was beautiful. Large with extremely comfortable Japanese beds. The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. There was a small kitchen to prepare hot drinks or microwave food. Everywhere was very clean and well kitted out. We have stayed in several Ryokan recently. This was undoubtedly the best!

A very nice place to stay. The reception was easy to find close to the train station. Can recommend going by the mall close by and getting fluffy japanese pancakes at the Happy Pancake cafe nearby 😁 The contact-less check in there was super easy. The apartment was super, big nice bath, a kitchen with fridge and freezer and a big sink, a decent sized bedroom with three beds, perfect for us three women, and a livingroom with a big tv.

Since we were only 2 friends in the apartment, the place felt like a house - it had a lot of space for our clothes and luggage and it had a nice flow (the kitchen with the dinning room in the center and bedrooms that could be divided with a wall). We really liked the fact that the apartment came with a rice cooker and a toaster/oven! The bathroom was well equipt, the washing and drying machine were a bonus. Another bonus is definitely the fact that the apartment is really close to Kanazawa station and the market, so be sure to walk there at least once.
