The onsen is a good size and there was a private one outside which you could use. They had kimono and yukata to use while you explored the onsen in the town. The rooms were very large and had en-suites. They had a coffee and hot water machine downstairs to use and lots of information about the area. Had our own toilet and sink but no shower. Japanese breakfast was great, good food in small portions and looked beautiful, and very affordable. Outdoors Onsen was spectacular and justifies the stay just on its own. It is 5 minutes walk from train station. Has free parking and 10-15 mins car ride to Snow Monkey Park and shuttle provided if no car. The baths both indoor and outdoors were welcoming and excellent.
