Erkin and his family are absolutely wonderful hosts. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and the location is just a 15 min stroll into the city center. A little supermarket is just opposite. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Erkin‘s. If we ever come back to Karakol we‘ll be back with you!!!!

Everything! The yurt was very comfortable and authentic. We also had dinner with the family which ended up in a starter, dessert and main course with vegetables from the garden, steaming soup and (obviously) Kyrgyz vodka. The family were the sweetest people and we had such a good time with them even if some of the communication was on google translate. Would recommend for everybody who wants a true and authentic experience of the Kyrgyz culture! 11/10 ♥️

The rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and brand new! Lots of thoughts put into the beautiful decor. Our hosts prepared a delicous breakfast for us every morning along with delicious coffee. Our hosts were friendly, warm, and incredibly gracious. Mars prepared amazing tea for us when we came back soaking wet and taught us a lesson at chess. This was by far the best place we stayed in Karakol!

A great hostel where we met fun people. Moreover the owner is very helpfull with organizing daytrips and with giving tips about how to do stuff by yourself as well!

The hostess was super friendly, the quiet shady garden was a delight, the showers are very new and the breakfast was amazing! The hostess did our laundry and after 9 days in the mountains our clothes finally smelled so clean again!
