After reading the poor reviews for the hotels, hostels and guest houses in Battambang, we decided to stay at this homestay. A very good decision! This homestay is spotlessly clean, and we enjoyed the little special features throughout this property. The owners are very friendly and very attentive to their guest's every need; always checking if we are comfortable and satisfied. The group of small, cute children really gave this delightful accomodation a fun, family atmosphere. Our hosts gave us a walking tour of their village, and even their bird's nest facility. Our hosts told us many things about the local area, and even their own lives. We stayed in the room with the air conditioning! Very comfortable and clean! A hot shower is available. We loved the welcoming fruit and towel sculptures in all the rooms! Motorcycle rental is available for only $8 per day! I wish we could have stayed longer! When departing, our hosts booked our bus tickets for us, and even gave us a ride to the bus station. This amazing homestay is my place to stay every time I am in Battambang!

I had a lovely stay with Esaro and his family! A truly experience to share with local people and support local businesses. They are just lovely. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature and life. Very close to the Temples and the Caves. The food Roca (I’m sorry if I’m writing it in the wrong way) cooked was delicious. The house is comfortable, fresh and full of space. To be able to share the moments with his Mom, Dad, Uncle, Brother was super cool! Thanks for your generosity! I had a great time with you and your family!

Their owner is a open minded and responsible man with good English standard. Staffs are young and friendly. We enjoyed the spacious rooms with balcony. Their breakfast was awesome. We did encountered difficulties to access wifi in room but they provided solution swiftly. This is what I really care. I do not need a perfect robot, but I enjoy services by good people.

Savets homestay is outside of the main city of Battembang. It is a very beautiful property and I felt like I was in the jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. His friend drove me around for a half day tour and then we met up later with some other guests. It was a very memorable experience. If you have the chance take it. Also the breakfast was very delicious. Thanks Savet!

Outside of town, quiet and peaceful. The family built a little jungle with beautiful bungalows in their garden. The shower is very basic:water + trowel-you don't need more :) The food was amazing. The host is also a tour guide for a lot of years and we did a full-day tour with him, also to non-touristic places. The family was always around (had dinner next to us) and helped us with all questions. The family also supports the local community, they built up a school for kids to teach them English (as they don't learn it in public school), so staying there, also supports them in doing this important job.

Where do I start? The rooms are incredible, huge, stylish, spotlessly clean with super comfortable beds. The property itself is so beautiful, with a lily pond, lush greenery, a lovely pool and plenty of seating to enjoy the setting. It’s an oasis of luxury just outside Battembang. The food is outstanding - the only problem is not eating too much of it. And the staff are so incredibly kind and attentive. A wonderful hidden gem in Cambodia.

We really loved our stay at Battambang Resort. The place is lovely, quiet, with a nice swimming pool. Food was great and staff very kind. Even though is not not in the city center, it is easy to reach with a tuktuk within 10 minutes. The room is great with a nice terrasse on the lake.
