We completely loved this accomodation. Location was perfect, as we came by train and left by bus, it was walking distance everywhere. Whole property is super cool with nice touches that makes it very cozy. Room was extremely spacious with very comfortable huge bed. I liked balcony with nice seating area, which we did not have time to use :) . Whole style of hotels gives you nice colonial vibes, which is so typical for this town, so it just perfectly completed whole feeling from this Sri Lankan historical gem. Stuff was super nice always have nice words for us and helped us with all the questions we had.

Our stay at Olinda Galle was simply perfect! The property is stunning, with a truly special swimming pool. The garden is beautiful and well-maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room decor was elegant and thoughtfully designed, adding to the charm of the place. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was flawless—we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Darshi, Oshi and their three kids who live on the property were the most amazing hosts. Darshi is a phenomenal cook. The food was out of this world!! If you asked for a particular dish, it was delivered! Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. We also learnt much about the local culture from Darshi and Oshi.

Beautiful colonial building with nice gardens. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are so attentive and helpful. Was the perfect choice after a busy 10 days travelling around Sri Lanka. They upgraded me to a better room which was very kind.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The villa and rooms are very clean. The pool area is very relaxing and super clean, which you dont always see in the areas hotels. Breakfast is great and big! A bit outside Galle center but easy and cheap to move around with tuktuk. Location is nice because there is no big streets nearby so its quiet and peaceful.

The host was very friendly and was always ready to help. The room is very big and the beds are equipped with mosquito nets and ventilators. You hear the trains passing by, but not that often and for a very short period of time. They served me a small breakfast for free in the morning. I was very happy with the stay and would stay a second time.

Beautiful hotel interior. All staff are very friendly and always smiling. It was nice that there was beach access. The attentiveness of the staff is what really made it stand out like contacting us before we arrived to ensure we were all set and they helped organise our activities.
