Just everything. Really nice apartment, specially equipped for western turists, with hair dryer, toilet brush, drinking water, big room and bathroom, with big patio in front of the room, plus swimming pool. What else can you wish more. It was the best experience during my trip in Sri Lanka. Big bonus was also Janaka, resort manager who organized Safari in Yala for us.

Gayan was a fantastic host and he does so much for his guests, e.g. getting you to places close to his location and pick up again, a short evening lake tour, organize different things upon requests of guests, etc. all without additional costs. Highly recommended!

Extremely enthusiastic owner ready to bend over backwards to make the client happy. Able to arrange safari trips, scooter rentals, take you to bus station etc. Excellent home cooked dinner by owner's wife, a true masterchef, food for two could feed six, worth the value of the stay alone. Awesome Welcome & Farewell drinks, take away breakfast ready at 5:30 for our early morning safari trip, couldn't ask for more. Would rate 11 out of 10!!

the owners were wonderful. great food, excellent recommendations for sightseeing (they provided even a bicycle to go there), wake-up-service at 4.15am for the safari, free „taxi“-service to their neighbour to see deer and to the bus station. and the owners love animals, help you spot birds or crocodiles by the river. just excellent!

The size of the tent room was great. Absolutely loved being able to go for a dip in the pool after a hot day. Highly recommend the bbq dinner as this was yet another highlight of our stay.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Elegant Lake House during our Sri Lanka trip, and it left us with indelible memories. From the moment we arrived, Randy and his family greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The guesthouse's idyllic lakeside location created beautiful mornings and evenings. The rooms was spacious, clean, good AC, and tastefully decorated, offering all the comforts one could ask for. Randy went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He were incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with any request. He organized enriching experiences like a village visit, pottery session, and a captivating lake tour. His extensive knowledge of birds added an extra layer of wonder to our tour. The guesthouse's proximity to Yala National Park made it an ideal base for a safari adventure. In summary, our stay at this guesthouse was truly extraordinary. The blend of natural beauty, impeccable service, and super good cuisine rendered it an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return to this hidden gem in Sri Lanka.

Firstly I'd like to say that the room, hotel, grounds and surrounding area are lovely. The room is huge, nicely decorated and blooming lovely. The rest of the hotel has a very warm, welcoming and cosy feel to it. I wasn't able to try the hotels breakfast as I left early the next day for the safari that the hotel had organised for me. There's parking, aircon in the rooms. But it's safe to say that the pictures don't do the place justice.
