Comfortable room with a stunning mountain and lake view. Staffs were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and it felt great to sit outside in the garden with beautiful lake and mountain surroundings.

Beautifully restored traditional old hotel. We had the top floor suite. Very spacious and comfortable. Absolutely wonderful receptionist…couldn’t be more helpful.

The lady welcoming us was super friendly. The house was amazing and remindes like going to grandparents’ house. So cozy, clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Best bed to sleep in!

The staff are exceptionally friendly- we arrived later than expected, the front desk staff was waiting for us; the kitchen staff also lent us bowels so we could eat dinner; staff waited patiently for us to finish breakfast even though it’s already closed. The house has a lovely lounge and garden. The rooms are spacious and water pressure in the bathroom is good.

When we arrived at the property they could not find our booking due to a mistake from our booking agency. To help us out they offered to give us the presidential suite at another hotel which they have and it was more than excellent. Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect! Very clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings with mountain landscape. Easy to visit Geiranger, Trollstigen and Ålesund from there.

In every review there should be something positive and something negative. So, let’s get the negative out of the way first: the only thing we found unpleasant in this house was, that we only stayed for one night! Now the positive(s !!): Friendliness of the hostess 11 out of 10. Facilities and standard of the house excellent!!! Everything is freshly renovated and the standard is way… way above average, putting it modestly. To put this review in perspective we stayed in several 4 & 5 star hotels during our road trip throughout Norway, this is better - 5-star superior in our opinion! You can park the car figuratively in the front door! Only 1 meter! The highlight is the newly build, spacious terrace with a view which is so fabulous that it makes you forget time. One thing you should bring with you for this terrace is a sturdy supply of wine, red or white is up to you ;-) Fazit: We enjoyed our stopover tremendously!!!

This is an incredible accommodation for snowboarding in Strandafjellet. We felt right at home and it had everything we needed. The bus stop was right outside the house. Buses were always on time according to the schedule (I recommend the FRAM phone app, you can buy cheaper tickets than you get if you buy on the bus). The Kiwi and Rema supermarkets are both a short walk away. The kitchen had everything we needed including a good size fridge and a freezer. The bed was soft, the shower was excellent and the TV is large. The views are beautiful. The living space is a good size with a great sofa and there is a well placed bench in the hallway by the front door for taking off your boots.
