This place is truly a hidden gem. There is not much around here, just beautiful nature and a very authentic experience of staying in a nice Norwegian cabin. We stayed for one night only, as we were on our way from Lærdal to Stryn, but even in that short amount of time, we enjoyed and appreciated owner's hospitality and authentic experience of staying in this place. The place is clean, comfortable and well maintained. A lot of wood makes it feel warm and cozy. Breakfast is nice with some homemade products. Parking was free, without any hassle.

The area is magic, beautiful. The heater worked amazingly well. Beautiful view from the cabin. Everything was nice. Best I could ever ask for, for this price.

An excellent location on a bank of a roaring Gaula river with beautiful cascades (Likholefossen is only 1,5 km-s away), nice views of mountains all around, several hiking trails from short to longer ones. There's even an almost private secret natural swimming pool 100 meters upstream from the house. Lots of privacy. The house has everything you need except wifi. Helpful host. This was geographically the best-positioned house we rented on our 10 days long trip in Norway.

The loft is really gorgeous and was by far our best accommodation experience in Norway! It’s brand new (completed in December 2024) with state of the art equipment, including automatic lighting, modern design kitchen and luxury home cinema (we never saw such a large screen before and watching « E.T. the extra-terrestrial » was really an experience!). To be noted as well that the sleeping corner in the living room has all curtains for making it dark when sleeping (even if daylight outside). More importantly, the location in a green farming environment along the lake and the view from the loft were unforgettable! We were warmly welcomed and were lucky to enjoy a boat trip on the lake which was fantastic as the weather was great (30 Celsius degrees, blue sky no cloud)! The host and his family were very friendly, thank you again! We highly recommend the place if you look for a nice stop between Bergen and Gerainger / Andalsnes / Alesund, you won’t be disappointed, it’s a really a beautiful environment and amazing loft!
