Was very excited to see what living in a tiny house would be like for the night as I want one myself! The hosts were super helpful! A really lovely location, the road wasn't a bother at all. Loved overlooking the farm and seeing the ponies and cows.

Everything! Place was spotless, comfortable, modern and thoughtfully prepared with all the details that made our stay extra enjoyable and memorable. My daughter & I decided to stay overnight at Oamaru before continuing our road trip to Christchurch. We got the ground floor 2-bedrooms unit of this restored heritage building. The parking is just outside the main door, so convenient for us. There was another unit upstairs via the staircase at the side The place is a treasure! It looks like a remnant of time past by yet the interior is stunningly decorated (those amazing chandeliers for central lighting) & furniture feels so richly luxurious. I love the unit layout & each bedroom is ensuite. The kitchen has everything you need for simple cooking. After days of travelling, we needed laundry facility. The shared laundry is locked, just steps away behind the building. We called Katrina to get the access code & she promptly picked up the call. Both washing machine & dryer were easy to use. Cool! Bathrooms are spotlessly clean. Rooms have heaters that we appreciated as we were still not used to the cold'ish summer weather..
