The hosts were amazing. They were very welcoming and accommodating. The house was unique and beautiful, and the beds were very comfy. We were so grateful to the hosts who organised a firepit out under the stars for us at our request and the breakfast was delicious. Such an intimate and wholesome experience. Thank you. Absolutely loved this B&B! My friends and I stayed here after doing the Hobbiton Evening Banquet Tour, and it was so nice to have somewhere nearby to relax that late at night. There is a large DVD selection, and we watched Lord of the Rings hehe. Also loved getting to pet and feed the goats and see the ducks!! Beautiful and clean property.

Thank you so much Alyson & Tim for such a magical stay. This sweet little bed & breakfast was beautifully positioned on such an idyllic farm with an incredible backdrop to gaze out upon. The bed was super comfortable, and bathroom facilities perfect. Beautiful short car ride to both Hobbiton, Wairere Falls and into the MataMata township. We’ll most certainly be back. Thank you xx

Everything. Very nice, modern, well furnished and equiped apartment with nice kitchen and comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh home made bread, house eggs, home made jogurt was fabulous and fruits from the garden, milk and orange juice was on the fridge and home made cookies were absolutely delicious. I’m coffee lover so I appreciated nesspresso machine with milk steamer (fresh milk was available in the fridge ). I was also very nicely suprised with dyson hairdryer which you can’t see even in the most luxurious hotel. Moreover Kylie (host) was very nice, let our dauther to play in their garden, she let her feed her chickens and ship and let us to take some fruits from her garden. We stayed just for one night, but it was great stay and when we’ll come back to New Zealand we’ll definitely stay here again. Absolutely recommend Matamata country B&B 👍

This was an amazing stay! Our family of 5 was visiting Hobbiton and we needed a place where we could all stay together comfortably. This house had everything we needed and lovely unexpected touches like chocolates and coffee! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
