An amazing hotel in Koh Samui. I wish I had a few more days to stay there. I truly loved it. Very high standard, well designed. The villa is well built in an excellent location, with a wonderful view. Properly equipped, perfectly clean, superbly maintained. We spent almost two weeks of Christmas here and it went by too fast. I would like to highlight the work of the entire Zog Villas team, especially the manager, Miss Luck. Thanks to all of them, I can say that our stay was 100% positive.

It was wonderful to have our own swimming pool and the sea right there. There is also a massage hut available right next to the property wheere you can hear the waves - perfect for relaxing - they are very good, friendly and reasonable prices. Everone were very friendly and June was an absolute star. She organised taxi services, laundry, cleaned and more. I wished we could have stayed here for at least two weeks. It was a great way to start our trip in Thailand. We were able to walk on the beach for miles (especially when low-tide) and there are quite a few restaurants right on the beach. The closest one is the Treehouse - they have excellent food at reasonable prices.

The best place ever!!! We stayed for 6 nights and wish our trip lasted longer, just to be able to enjoy the accommodation more. Baan Boom Boxes is a real heaven on earth. A family owned resort where everything looks so beautiful and is calm, so we got a lot of rest. They care so much about sustainability and every little detail is very well thought of. It was my boyfriend’s birthday the second day we came so we got upgraded to a better room for free. They’ve also given him a little cake as a present. The staff is just amazing! We enjoyed the swimming pool and the little terrace with a bath tub on top of the room. Breakfast (for only a 100 baht per person) was so delicious and everything we ate was from their own garden. Also, you have a place where you can get water, coffee and tea for free throughout the day. They arranged transportation to and from the airport and motorbike rent for us, for very affordable prices. You need a scooter to reach anything on the island, but we had no problem with that because wherever you stay, you will need a scooter to travel around.

The villas are well appointed in a nice peaceful setting surrounded by bush, coconut trees and greenery. It’s a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the main touristy areas, which is perfect for having a bit of peace and quiet and makes for a more relaxed setting. Yet, its is a short distance by scooter for everything you want to go and explore or enjoy. The staff was exceptionally friendly and serviced the villa daily and kept everything clean and tidy. John, the proprietor, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and he knows the island well and was always keen to assist with anything. He was always super keen to assist with anything, and assisted me with everything from renting a scooter to getting me a taxi to the airport. This level of personal pride and attention is amazing and gives it a real personal touch.

I thought really hard and couldn't find a single thing I could fault. The almost rainforest like property is beautiful and each villa is a delight to the eyes. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool in the villa and the space itself. My 5 year old couldn't get enough. While the beach isn't much to talk about it's still private enough and the waters were calm enough to take a good dip in the ocean. The two things that made this stay go from great to exceptional for us were - 1. The extremely hospitable staff and I mean each of them. They all knew my son's name from the say we arrived - from the buggy drivers to the servers at the restaurants to just about everyone. 2. Their kids club is small but has the most fantastic caretakers. I want to especially call out Sunny and Nguyen at the kids club who were so good with our son that he was perfectly fine playing there without us (a first). It's not cheap for sure but it was more than worth it for us.

The pool and beach area were outstanding as was teh parking facilities and general quality and cleaniness of the toilets/general ares. The beach was right next to the restaurant and teh resort provided beach bags/towels etc for guests. free sunloungers on the beach and areas to hose yourself down from the sand were also in excellent condition

Came very late for 1 night as it was the closest hotel to the pier. Communication with the hotel was good and the check in was comfortable although I arrived around 23:00… Room was big, too bad the window to a parking lot but overall was a good place to crush on

The hotel clearly have seen better times but the managment keeps the hotel well and offer good services. Very friendly and helpful staff, awesome swimming pool on the roof, comfortable beds private parking with an attendant during the night. Morning markets and 7eleven within a short walk, a few good restaurants as well. Cheap and tasty mangosteens a short walk across the street. Walking distance (about 10 mins) to Samui Disc Golf.
