Wonderful hotel! Could have never dreamed of anything better. It was paradise! It’s the perfect location if you’re looking for peacefulness and quietness. The staff was incredible nice, always having nice attentions. The food was absolutely amazing, beat breakfast and dinner ever! The rooms are really lovely and the pool is a bliss. There is also a very good gym. We would definitely come back!!

The staff really made my stay phenomenal! It was the best holiday I’ve ever had. Everyone was kind, compassionate, generous and always willing to assist. They do such a wonderful job keeping the place beautiful and you can count on them to make you feel special! I spent my 30th birthday there and they made it the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! me and my daughter just turned back home and already miss our great stay. the room are very clean , have all you need. breakfast and dinner are superlatives. loved to step out the room and putting my barefoot directly on the sand...few steps more and you're directly on the wide, white beach. you can use the two bicycles to wander around and if you love to sleep with the sound of the ocean, the quietness of the nature surrounding you, great staff at your disposal what whatever you need...well this is the right spot. thanks to Sebastian and laura :-))

everything was amazing. Insanely delicious food, a very beautiful new place, with all the amenities. Excellent view of the ocean, excellent service. I would like to say a special thank you to Gloria, who always helped with organizing leisure time, gave useful advice and raised our spirits throughout our vacation. She creates the atmosphere of this hotel. I would also like to thank Anna and the waiters, they are always interested in whether everything is to your liking, are ready to help at the first request and are very smiling. The owner of the hotel will also always help and was able to check us in ahead of time. This is a great place, with a good location and everything you can dream of for a good vacation. I especially liked the panoramic pool, the bartender also makes very tasty cocktails. Very clean room, cleaned every day, all furniture is new. Breakfasts are very tasty, lots of fruit and there is something to choose from.

A wonderful hotel, at a great spot with a lot of options for relaxing, kitesurfing (excellent team and service), snorkeling….Superb staff and management and delicious food. Really enjoyed my stay at Zanzibar Lodge! The place is very nice, with big, comfortable rooms. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I loved having the animals around. The location is great too, just a short walk to the beach and main road. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the area

As a guest at Shirley's we loved the great service and cleanliness of the rooms. The best thing is the close access to the beach and it's facilities. As a couple we share a birthday and we chose to celebrate it in zanzibar at Shirley's Residence. Shirley's made us a romantic set up by the beach and the chef prepared a delicious 4 course meal. The best part was the birthday cake which was enough to share with other guests...it was the best celebration ever. They really made us part of their family. We will forever be grateful. The management continues to work with us regarding everything we need from them, and in Zanzibar even when back home.
