A great location just outside of Sa Pa town, the house is so beautiful and cosy and the whole host family are so friendly and welcoming. We loved staying here and wish we could have stayed longer! We had the family meal and it was excellent, loads of veggie dishes. It was cold when we were there and we loved sitting around the fire and meeting other travellers!

The location was excellent, and the staff were incredibly supportive. Despite arriving at 5 AM, they kindly allowed us to rest in the lobby. The receptionist stood out with her exceptional service—she helped us book tours and a taxi to the station, making our stay much smoother. Her quick responses, spontaneity, and constant warm smile added a feel-good touch to our experience. The breakfast was also good.

The room - clean and spacious. The view from our room is really breathtaking we can see the Sapa Centre in the clouds ^^ Staff - really nice and always ready for any assistance. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hmong Sister House during my trip to Sapa, Vietnam. It was an incredible experience to learn about the Hmong culture and way of life, which is vastly different from my own British culture. One of the highlights of my stay was participating in some of the Hmong activities organized by the homestay. We had the opportunity to learn about traditional Hmong embroidery and even try our hand at it. It was fascinating to see the intricate designs and patterns, and I was impressed by the skill and patience required to create such beautiful pieces. Another activity that stood out was a visit to a local Hmong market. The hustle and bustle of the market, with vendors selling everything from fresh produce to handicrafts, was a stark contrast to the shopping experiences I'm used to in the UK. I loved seeing the vibrant colors and hearing the sounds of bargaining and trading going on all around me. Sstaying at Hmong Sister House allowed me to immerse myself in a culture that is so different from my own. The Hmong people are incredibly hospitable and welcoming, and I feel like I gained a new perspective on life during my time there. While there are certainly differences between the Hmong culture and British culture, I found it refreshing to experience something so new and different. It reminded me of the beauty of diversity and the importance of learning from other cultures.

    Large comfortable and clean room, well decorated and furnished. Staff was very friendly and helpful parking our motorbike and with our luggage. The sauna was nice (although in the US we'd call that a steam shower) but it's got limited hours. Breakfast was decent and had a large spread. The price is competitive for the room type but the amenities are not great. I would stay elsewhere unless you value the sauna highly.
