What a surprise arriving at Treur River Lodge! We weren't quite sure what to expect but this place exceeded all our expectations! The rustic cabins on the riverbank are lovely decorated, you can feel the sense for detail everywhere! The restaurant closes early (at least when we were there in low season), but the food is very tasty. Also breakfast is a delight! It was quite cold at night, but we were given a heater which made our stay cosy and warm.

Very nice place, we loved to stay there, it has a very special vibe. It lies somewhat remote, at the end of a small village, in the middle of the "highlands" on/near the Panorama Route. The rooms have everything you need, there's a shower, toilet and kitchen and a common room to get together. Mark is a nice guy, and we felt comfortable. We loved the vibe of the accommodation and found it interesting to stay in a more traditional, small village. Can recommend a stay there!

Excellent views of Three Rondavels from our chalet no. 98. Nice restaurant. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary utensils, cutlery, fridge, microwave, toaster, hot plates, etc. Therefore, you can make your own food and do not need to rely on the restaurant. There's a braai outside as well. Nice views from the upper view point. The lower view point is not exciting. Very nice and tranquil place for relaxing and getting away from the city life.
