What a little gem! A very warm welcome, super clean rooms in perfect condition and a lovely breakfast! The little KitKat perk is one of the signs they care about you, Hosts are very accommodating! Wished we would have stayed longer in the region with the fantastic swims in cape Vidal and excellent wildlife spotting.

It is an amazing place we want to come back to. We were delighted during our stay for several reasons. Firstly, our room was beautifully decorated. Every small detail, including the scent, was carefully considered. For instance, there is a comfortable bathtub with a bathtub tray and candles; the sink is decorated with the image of a hippo. There are gels, shampoos, body lotions, cotton swabs, and pads near the sink – all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, and I must say we are quite particular about it. There is a TV in the room – although we didn't watch it, we enjoyed listening to the radio with local and classical music. Additionally, we were provided with tea, coffee, and small snacks in the room. Secondly, the owner of the place, Adrian, helped us plan and organize our stay in St. Lucia. Thanks to him, we had the best experience during our entire journey in South Africa. We had a boat tour to see hippos. Importantly, we were on a boat with only a few tourists and a knowledgeable guide, while other ships were crowded with people. Our guide showed us some additional sights. The next day, we went ocean fishing, and there were only five of us on the boat. We were very lucky, and for 3.5 hours, we enjoyed whale watching. Now, we have hundreds of pictures and videos of whales, and I even caught a big tuna! Adrian joined us to ensure the fish was properly cooked in the restaurant. It was a delicious and unique experience; we had never eaten such fresh tuna. Adrian also provided suggestions about restaurants, local markets, and other excursions. We truly appreciated the way he and Marie treated us. Thirdly, the breakfasts were superb. In the evening, guests can come to the hall, have a drink, and listen to music. There were books and photo albums available. For those interested, there is a small pool. We didn't swim but enjoyed its illumination in the evenings. We highly recommend booking this place.

Lovely guest house. Rooms were spacious and clean with a fridge too. Seating area outside our rooms. The pool was lovely. The seating area for breakfast was great and the selection of food for breakfast was very good. The staff were really friendly and Lee and Tessa were full of information for us about the town and tours to do. There is private car parking on site. You can walk into town but better to drive when it's dark as the hippos are about.

Fantastic staff. Warm and friendly from arrival till departure. Real sense of family love. The room was top notch. Clean and spacious with great outside seating area. Safe off street parking behind security gate. Breakfast were well prepared with a great spot next to the pool.
